A Weekday Warrior’s Guide to Las Vegas

In Las Vegas, the lights never turn off, dice are always rolling and performers are perpetually onstage. Find your vacation swing—on the greens or along the Strip—any day of the week. With so much going on in the City of Lights, you don’t need to wait for the weekend to make the most of Vegas.

Shop Like a Pro

Start any day by admiring the action while shopping on and off the Strip. Head into Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Miracle Mile Shops, which are open until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. Travelers will find more than 200 shops, plus entertainment such as a Zombie Burlesque, comedic performances and an impressive free fountain show full of color-changing fog, water effects and flares of light set to original soundtracks. While you’re there, grab a bite from one of more than 20 restaurants, including American, Italian, Mexican and Chinese cuisines.

Did you know...

Club Members can redeem Bonus Points for gift cards at Miracle Mile Shops? A minimum exchange of 2,000 Bonus Points is required, which can be redeemed for a $200 Miracle Mile Shops gift card (additional dollar increments available).

Walk to the nearby LINQ Promenade, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district. Here, you can continue to shop or take a break atop the world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller, and soak in the grandness of Vegas and its surrounding area with panoramic views of the valley and the Spring Mountains.

For those staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, the Fashion Show Mall is just steps from your suites. At one of the largest shopping centers in the U.S., Members can experience prime Vegas shopping with high-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Louis Vuitton. For a limited time, Members can take advantage of an exclusive opportunity and make Open Season reservations online or over the phone 90 days prior to their checkout date.

Golfing Galore

You don’t have to wait until Saturday for a tee time at a wide variety of courses in and around Las Vegas. Venture down Las Vegas Boulevard for the Taylormade Golf Experience, featuring 42-acres, a lighted par 3 course and a 113-stall two-tier driving range. Have a flexible schedule? Take advantage of the course’s deals and specials, like Golf Happy Hour, which is daily from 4 p.m. until closing and includes nine holes, a golf cart, small bucket of range balls and a drink from the course’s Flight Deck Bar and Grill for $29.95.

The entire family can enjoy hours of fun at Top Golf. The four-story entertainment venue features hitting bays where you can play interactive golf games, order food and more. Or get a dose of history at Las Vegas National Golf Club, just 10 minutes from the Strip and home to the Last Vegas Golf Hall of Fame. Visitors playing on the club’s par-71 course featuring lush, green fairways will see why this desert city’s name in Spanish translates to “The Meadows.”

Take a Scenic Drive

About 13 miles northwest of the Strip, vacation-goers can trade in city lights for tranquil scenery at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. After an easy drive from Vegas, travelers can park at the visitor center, explore and go for a scenic hike. Pack a picnic and make a day out of it.
