Diamond Head

For impressive views of Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean, including the striking shorelines of Waikiki, Koko Head and Wai’anae, hike to the top of Diamond Head. From its summit, this 3,000-year-old volcanic formation offers impeccable views (featured above) and a terrific vantage point, which is why the U.S. military used Diamond Head as a vital lookout in the early 1900s.
